It is an opportunity to get to know Brazil while working as an English language teacher at a language school, elementary school, high school, or college. Job Details: Eligibility: *you need to be a citizen of USA, Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa *you need to demonstrate maturity, responsibility and commitment to the school and the students *you need to be in good physical and mental health *Willing to be located in a small, medium or large city in one of the four regions where the program operates *you need to have a minimum of USD $1,500 when arriving in Brazil, to avoid financial concerns *Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required* *Preference will be given to experienced teachers or those who have a Master's degree. Participants should be available to travel to Brazil in early to mid July to participate in the general 2-day group training and the subsequent individual 1 to 2-week trainings at their destination schools. What you get: Job Placement: Guaranteed paid teaching placement prior to departure, with full benefits package. Each school offers its own benefits. The benefits will vary according to the region where the school is located, the number of students, and other factors. In compliance with legislation, all the schools are required to offer the following: * Salary offered between R$1,500 - $3,000 Brazilian reais (approximately USD$ 850 - 1700) per month. All salary and benefits will be agreed upon in your contract prior to departure. * 4-week's paid vacation for 12-month contracts * Brazilian medical insurance and assistance * Financial assistance with daily transportation from and to school * In addition to the 12 monthly salaries, you will also receive the "décimo terceiro" (thirteenth salary) in December, equivalent to one month's pay, as well as an additional one third of your monthly salary during your vacation, so your annual salary will be 13.3 times your monthly salary.
